I'm looking into buyng a madrock loco for my next pair and I was just wondering does anyone know how much they stretch? and If you've had them do you like'em? I'm trying to decide between v10s, venoms, or locos and the price is too much of a factor :-)

I have the locos. I was going to buy venoms, but they didn't fit my feet right. The locos are an awesome shoe. Great for bouldering and steep routes. The rubber wears down a little faster than the other brands, but they are an awesome shoe.

I've bouldered around with a kid who wears the Locos. One time at the gym, we were working a route, I was smearing the whole thing with my Mythos, and kept falling off, this kid came up and did it without smearing, cause he was able to use the bolt holes with the sharp nose on the Locos. Seem like great shoes, I've got the Mad Rock Flash's, they kick ass as well.

I have the Locos and I hate them. They hurt like a bitch and have a such a limited application, they only work for really steep stuff.

Since they discontinued the Cobras, I bought myself a pair of Venoms. They size funny, but they're a great shoe if they fit your shoe right. They're sensitive and they edge fairly well for a slipper. Buy whatever shoe fits your foot the best.

I got some last week and finally got to test em out. They work freakin great but they hurt like a mother. I wear a size 13 and that was the biggest size they had so i mean there is nothing i can do about it. I hope they stretch a little more. But other than that they work great!

I LOVE MY LOCOS!!! i can edge on anything (yes, inclusing bolt holes) they do hurt like a bee-yotch, even now, almost 6 months after buying them.. NO they do NOT STRECH at all. Didnt downsize too much.. i wear a 5 street shoe (womens) and went down to 5 and had to trade them in for some 5 and a halfs that still make my feet go numb after ten minutes... but, o, do i feel like a badass when my friends wonder what the hell im standing on...."what the f_ck are your feet on??? i cant frickin see a foothold!?!" ahh the wonders of locos. the rubber does wear out more quickly, but i called mad rock and sent mine in and got a new pair for free in a couple weeks. theyre frickin awesome. the pain blurs and even when it doesnt, its so worth it.
