:?:
i'm from illinois and have some friends close to willow falls, would like to come up and make a joit trip out of it for climbing and kayaking... but not sure if bringing the boat would be worth it or not.

the pic looks sweet... but i can't find any info regarding runnability (looks like it might be bony) and legality of running it. i've checked the major sites... (americanqhitewater.org etc) and have come up empty handed.

any info would be great. thanks!

i ve never done the falls it would probabaly break the boat its about a fifty foot drop over about 500 feet or so. I ve thought about it many times. But In the te early spring ther is a good run of about two mile or so about three miles up stream. You have ito hit it early and right after the snow melt and let me tell you that is awsome. about seven stacks about 8 feet tall or so and it is a rigerous twenty minute journey. It only last for about a week or so though.
