Hey I'm going to Potrero over new years and am driving to Laredo TX and thinking about busing to Hidalgo. Are there any free and safe spots that I can leave my car in Laredo for a couple of weeks or is it just easier and cheaper to keep driving into Mexico and down to Hidalgo. Any beta on either way would be appreciated.

I dont know how much a bus costs compared to gas, insurance and highway toll (which, by the way, is $173 pesos if you go through the "autopista" or free if you go through the "libre", which I dont recomend because its alot more dangerous), but its only a 2 hr. drive, and its easier to move from place to place, lets say you want to go to la huasteca park (45 min. drive from potrero) or el salto, heck, youve come that far down why dont take it all the way.
