I've seen pics online, and did mess around a bit once to check out the rock. Seems like the Devil's Kitchen cave might have some fun potential, but I'm lost as far as established routes. Randall Green's "Rock Climbing Montana" doesn't mention Mt. Helena. I've got a bunch of relatives in Helena and I make it down there occasionally. Might have to look you up next time I'm in town, we can head out and climb something.

i am senior in college (school is not my highest priority) so i plan on trying to climb a lot and try to find some good bouldering up there on Mount Helena...i know that cave, and it might have some good stuff since its big enough but a pain to get to coldclimb, just give me a call if you are in town and if nothing we can do some bouldering or scout Mount Helena

The grayish rock on the west side has some bolted routes on it. (better rock) Also there used to be a few bolt's up above the kitchen area. But I haven't been up there in a while.
