about why 80 proof is considered hard LIQUOR (u ALWAYS follows q), maybe you should ask quickclips, the alcoholic.... but as for my computer lab being called the 'Bears Den'.... its because for many years up until 2002 i believe, the Chicago Bears trained at the UW-Platt campus. Therefore, they named the lab after them as a tribute. HAVE A ROCKIN TURKEY DAY ALL!!

Just had another great trip to So. Ill. I pulled way hard!!! Geesh so many great people tons of fun bouldering. Probably going back in two weeks!!! I did not have a chance to give my nemesis Velvet Green a go because of rain but maybe next time! I sent my bouldering nemesis fusion so sad. I almost sent the extension that begins on a way crazy underneath crimping start but fell one move from the end! :( damn La Sportiva rubber I should have had on my dragons!

ok, i should have said: IN ENGLISH u follows q.... most of the time... but whatever, you should still be able to spell a word as common as LIQUOR! haha. come on dan, you alki, ive had your rum & cokes.... basically rum with a drop of brown coloring on top.

these are all english words, though most (not all) are loan words. and you're right, i should have known better than to spell liquor so badly. goes to show what negative effects bible schools have on developing a significant drinking problem. i had a lot of fun climbing this past week. that orange route will go down!

yeah, i was thinking that when i wrote it, and i did hesitate to send the message, but that's what i get. as i wrote it there was 6 inches of snow on the ground in MICHIGAN, which i'm convinced has less climbing than kansas. you do what you can with what god gives you, you know... yeah, it's sad...

hey ya'll, thats right, i said ya'll. i guess i've been living in the south too long. anyhow, i thought i would just drop a note and say hello...i mean howdy! the friction is great down here as long as you get on the rock when its dry. conditions are looking good this weekend. it's a bit cold at night, i've been using two sleeping bags to stay warm enough. sent my first .12 a few weeks ago but i've been setting my goals on onsighting .11s rather than trying to go for harder routes. anyhow, i'll probably see some of you in January when i'm back in milwaukee/madison. phil

So I just arrived home from 4 days and 3 nights in J-Tree and it was the most incredible experience ever. If you ever get the chance to go jump on it and stay at the Hidden Valley Campground. Well I will definitely be putting up some pictures.
