Does anyone know the status of Gibraltar Rd. in Santa Barbara right now? I know some of the roads in the hills (including 154) are closed because of the recent rains, but I'm trying to figure out which areas will be accessible this weekend.

Went there a couple of weeks ago - there's construction to clean up the mud, but you can get through and you can park with no problems. Enjoy the mud stuck in the "No shooting" signs.

Yeah i went there a couple days after all the storms. The news claimed that the roads were in "bad" shape and would be closed and sure enough, they were closed. Luckily, the guy let us through anyway. To our surprise, the "mudslides" were nothing but some dust on the road. Overated in my opinion.
The roads are definately back open now.

I was down there for a few days this week. We did not know about the road closure but it was easy enough to find an alternate way up the hill. Also you can drive right up there from Solvang.

actually they are all closed, every road to every climbing spot in santa barbara....so don't go.....
