Besides the obvious? I slackline a little, read a lot and waste my body, brain and soul in everything Berlin has in the party box. Which is a lot. A huge lot.
Still mostly ‘reluctant gym-rat’. It doesn't get easier to get beyond the borders of the big city. Nonetheless I try to get on real rock as often as I can.
I started climbing in gym, January 04, getting addicted immediately. 32 years of avoiding every unnecessary movement, but then...
My first real rock experiences were soon to follow, which wouldn't exactly cure the addiction but made me spend a good portion of my (and my bank's) money on equipment and flights.
In the few years I do this, I managed to climb a dozen different areas in Europe - and also got to know an incredible bunch of the nicest people ever, known to us rc.commers as the EuroFreaks. So, honestly, I think I'm kinda doomed. But who cares, as long as there's rock...

Berlin is poor flatland. Some gyms and concrete towers to climb on. But there are some nice places within a couple of hours by car. And then of course there's the Berlin nightlife wilderness...
