My Daughter's First Climb

This is my daughter Cassidy, age 5, doing her first outdoor climb at Artist Bluff. The route she is on is the Mona Lisa. To most, this climb is 70 ft. of fun. To my daughter, this was a mountain of achievement. I was amazed when she reached the top on her first ascend. The amazment grew as she did it again and again, each time trying a different route. The next summer she climbed at Eagles Nest, and this summer we are going to try Rumney. Cass started climbing at the age of 3 and it looks like she will continue well into the future. As a proud father, I would like to say thank you for allowing me to share my proud moment's with a community such as this. Keep up the good work RC.
