Note the ropes, camera tripod, and shots from above. Quite the "commune with nature." Check out the story in Outside: http://outside.away.com/...te-arch-climb-1.html Guess he did TR it several times first. Bunch of jumarring up and down. Then some more times for the cameras. Also, there're clear grooves in the rock, plain as day. Whether they're from his ascents or previous ones is unclear at this point. GO

Oh come on you guys don't have video equipment, ropes, 4 people jugging lines, people bringing you coffee, snacks, and cell phones when you commune with nature? Huuuummmm. come to think of it me neither, weird. Shame is the only thing he communed with that day I just don't think he gets it yet.

yeah, it's not working anymore, don't know why. But there was a great shot of Dean talking, with the fixed line hanging down the arch behind him.

In reply to: yeah, it's not working anymore, don't know why. Steve probably exceeded his bandwidth, with all the traffic over here from it's posting. I could probably get it from him, and repost the "one with nature" bullshit.

I'm sure that movie belongs to the TV station that produced and hosted it, so it's up to them if they want to withdraw it. However, if anyone wants a copy, I'm sure there are folks who have it on their local machines from when they downloaded it. If you send a PM to, for example, some of the folks who posted early in the thread, with your email address, I'm sure they wouldn't mind sending you a copy as long as it's just for your use. GO

Then perhaps I'm confusing it with a different video. Was this the one that was an exclusive piece for a local TV nightly news crew? GO
