The Little Things Life serves up, huh?
And sometimes our paths are lonely. Probably don’t even know where we’re headed, right?
As always, its what we make of it. I find these wide expanses to be very relaxing. Doesn’t matter whether I’m walking or driving or biking or flying over them; they bring me a peaceful feeling.
There are some moments of clarity, here and there…
A nice relaxed sunset…
“So my Sister-in-law, that bitch, well she walked right up to me the other day and stuck her nose right up under my tail. Can you believe it?”
Uh boy, farm dogs, can’t take em anywhere. I think it was the fermented grape what got her tongue wagging, if you follow my lead.
All that’s well and good right? But what’s it got to do with us?
That’s just it, I don’t know. How did we get here? It sunny and warm almost everywhere in the state, except for right over there, where its shady, dank and cold. Ok then, let’s go climbing!
But who should we see here but my old buddy Angus Carbide. Hi Angus!
See what I mean about the hole? Oh well, my friends are worth it. And this is where they are.
But its like Bizarro World this weekend and blink! What just happened???
I dunno but I’ll go where you lead?
Short but sweet!
Thanks partner.

I took a break due to circumstances, and am just getting back to it again now myself. Start off easier and lower grade than you were, that's what I'm doing, I'll second up to 5.9 to start with for the first day at least. I have to get my head used to the fact it's not Squamish now, but Ontario.. oh well. Limestone not granite, I prefer granite too.

Times with the Hidden Adventure Bunny My Adventure Bunny wasn’t always... He came into my life long enough ago, that I don’t actually remember. In fact, looking for early images of adventure bunny, I realized that the first years of him are on film, and therefore inaccessible for the purposes of this post. Suffice to say, upon his entry into my life, I found that he made an excellent travel companion. Due to his cottony attributes, he was excellent for mopping up sweat in warm climes and always willing to serve as pillow/drool catcher on long car, train, bus, plane rides. He never shirked his duty in photos, always ready to pose (even if he was a bit limp about it at times). Best of all, he was, and is 100% machine washable. The world is a dirty place, and it’s very important for an Adventure Companion to know how to clean up. When my travels began to take me to the higher places, my Adventure Bunny found himself hauled along for the ride
After the first few trips, I started insisting that he start carrying his load, so he opted to start carrying the chalk.
I started going longer and higher than we’d ever been, and my Adventure Bunny got scared. But I never let him stay behind, and even though he tucks himself in a comparably safe place. He still carries the chalk, and I still drag him along, hauling him up wherever I find myself. He scares easily, so he stays hidden more often than not. So Bunny, what’s up for today? It’s a gray start, not the earliest, but we’ll have plenty of time…
A quick stop to pick up some gear to make the day go easier. Nothing quite like the right gear!
Hey Hula Boy, you’ve met bunny, but you scare him. So howzit goin’ ? Sure is way sunnier than where we started this morning
Here? We’re here? Hey man, you know that parking lots with bathrooms generally have required fees? Oh, you’re paying, gotcha. Watch the van for us Hula Boy?
Whoa Bunny, usually we’re not supposed to cross these kinds of gates…
Hey Bunny, the beta says follow the obvious use trail…which way do we go?
Ok Bunny, I think I see the ‘obvious use trail’. Do you?
Bingo! I think we’ve found our objective, now we gotta get down to business!
Whoa Bunny, don’t get distracted!!! Hey Bunny, is this the way it’s done? It doesn’t look like the way I did it last time…oh MAN, we’re gunna DIE!!
Why you giving me that look? You feelin’ a little stressed? Too bad, you got some chalk to haul.
Talk about a dangling modifier…sure is a lot to dangle betwixt the legs!!
Doesn’t it look like a walk in the park?
Not dangling anymore…hey Bunny, you look anxious, we gunna die?
When in doubt, test it out!!
It’s working so far…
We didn’t die…yet!
Time for a break. It’s been a stressful few weeks, and I’ve been subsisting on pastry and salads. I’ll take the pastry, you take the salad Bunny, fair play?
What did I tell you about not getting distracted?!
Managed to keep the yard sale tidy and stowed away. Time to boogie…
Til next time Thanks for all the support folks…and giving this a read! Cheers LS

Thanks! She's the apple of my eye, for sure. Lost again
Wandering around the wilds
These'll do
They're nice rocks.
But we're still lost
Tidiness is key to any extended road trip!
A good driver is mandatory
They still make these?
Room with a view
The Robbers Roost. Check out the cottonwoods!
The business
The Beast gets it done again.
I'm not dead yet. Cheers DMT
