And I can reply for Jonathan as he's already out there. He didn't mention anyone else, but I'll call him and make sure he knows how many he's saving for.

I haven't been able to keep up to speed with the conversation but it sounds like an rc.com contingent is getting a group campsite?

A partner and I are flying in Wednesday evening, the 17th, and are planning on staying at the RR campsites for the next 3 nights... can we share a plot of dirt with you? Don't worry--I don't snore, my feet don't stink, and since I'll be sleeping in my own bag you don't have to worry about my little "hotboxing" problem...

And... my climbing partner is a wo-man: a real, honest to god, woman-- single, ropegun, chill. So, seeing that we'll be helping "the ratio", can we join the coolkids-slumberparty/drinking-and"ohyeah,climbing"-club?

"Some day--many years from now--we'll look back on this, laugh nervously, and change the subject..."

Oops, forgot to ad: please PM me with group campsite info

is this deven that i met at R&J not too long ago? if so, you can probably ride with us, if you dont mind an overpacked corolla, splitting gas money, and a relatively short stay in vegas. (i have to be back at work on wednesday and have a date with moonlight buttress on monday)

I'm actually going to be flying in at 6:30 AM Thursday morning, and I will probably be dropped off by a taxi because I can't rent a car. :( I would greatly appreciate any pointers on where I should be able to set up camp. I'd much rather camp with a group of climbers than camp alone. If someone could give me a ride, that would be even better.

Hey pal, I've done my share of dirtbagging--including winter camping in Minnesota in January. Enough of that crap. To me roughing it is now staying in a motel that doesn't have King sized beds, an in-room coffee maker, cable TV (with all the premium stations) and other amenities.

Being a homeless wandering vagabond is not considered camping!

Besides, we have scorpions here that would like to meet you.....

Also, Martha's lawyers have found appeal. So there!

Hey i am already in red rocks, the place is busy. i know of a few people leaving on fri/sat who i could probably get their sites, we already have 2 vehicles but we are more than willing to add a couple tents if people don't mind parking in overflow. i also have a few friends who have just one car in sites so if anyone is interested, or feels like drinking a couple beers with another rc.com person swing by site #18, there will be either a red jeep or a green pickup in there. Should be a fun weekend.
P.s i need a partner for tomorrow.

i will be on the computer till 4:30 or so if you want to drop me a line

beth - you're welcome to hang, but i'm not sure if there is enough space to actually camp, and since i'm already squatting on someone else's site, i'd hate to say that it's okay.

your best bet will probably be to take boneware up on his offer.
