I need people to play outdoors with this summer! All my friends arn't climbers...say they're interested but never make the effort. Have friends overseas but that doesn't help me any! Let me know if anyone's interested to go out with me in the summer. e

Hi there... I'm interested in climbing pretty much any, uh, genre and at any time, with a little notice, anyhow... Quit the "real" job to climb, so I might as well get out there, eh? I'm also interested in this carpool idea, but don't, uh, have a car just right now... not exactly, anyway, so I'd basically be just some bum mooching rides. But if y'all are cool with that, then perhaps we could work something out ;) And who knows, I might just get frustrated enough at not having moterized transport by "summer" that I'll belly up and buy something. Stranger things have happened... Brad. Oh, Kman, thanks for the ride offer on the weekend... at the last minute I managed to snag a vehicle from my sister... good gal, she is. But thanks again, eh.

In reply to: I'm also interested in this carpool idea, but don't, uh, have a car just right now Ya don't need a car to car pool eh. Just a couple bucks to chip in. The more of us poor folk who decide to do this the cheaper it will be for all of us. Less gas $ to spend means more climbing. More climbing = more happiness, more happiness = a more healthy life

Ok, slick! I've got a car too, it's small but can fit 4 people and gear & it's awsome on gas. I am pretty much up to any time too, would love to do ice, but seasons over!!! I love climbing but as i said, nobody motivating me to keep it up here!

I want to swing leads on Cardiac Arete. It looks figgin awesome. I am trying to get a job out that way right now. Being laid off may be a good opportunity to try and get out to that area to live and play.

Does your friend climb? I was thinking Wasootch or Barrier. Depends. My wife isn't totally comfortable lead belaying, which in turn makes me uncomfortable leading, so it depends who wants to climb and if they are cozy belaying lead. I just want to get on rock.

She's a beginner climber, mostly indoors and not even an hour outdoors. Trad or sport?? I only have all sport gear & I'm happy leading. I hear you about just getting on to some rock...I was even thinking of heading out bouldering by myself b/c it's going to be so nice out!! e

In reply to: She's a beginner climber, mostly indoors and not even an hour outdoors. All good! My wife's at a beginner level aswell.
In reply to: Trad or sport?? Sport for now. I want to get used to climbing on limestone before I start placing gear in it. I am used to climbing on granite. I'll probably take some gear along just incase something looks good. So you in for Sunday then? Rendog wrote:
