In reply to: Hey, was it crazy sloppy out? There was tones of snow still out Kcountry way... Not sloppy at all. There was a little bit of snow at the base at some of the climbs, but that will probably be gone by this weekend. There is already waaaay less than there was 2 weeks ago. Just had to step onto the rock from the rope bag to keep the soles dry.

Bataan crag should be dry if you don't mind the SLOG up to it. Imperialist gets a lot of sun during the day as well as Graceland/golf course areas. meathooks should be dry, but there's a good chance you'll be belaying in the snow. Gardners will be wet, It's usually wet unless there's been a long stretch of sunny warm weather. Cougar creek will have some dry areas but there will be snow on the aproach. I've been in there in late march during warm weather. The Lake is out for the time being.

Went out to Heart on Saturday (28th) and it was fairly dry. First rock was good with just a bit of snow at the base. Aside from the cold rock which made yer fingers numb it was awesome! Anyone know if there were any crowds at Grassi on the weekend?? This early I should hope not..

Hey, I'm new on this list, but I love to get out and climb as much as possible, and luckily my job is pretty good for that. Always looking for more people to climb with though. I've been climbing ice right up till last weekend, but it looks like that is pretty much over, and I'm getting excited to get back to rock again. Would like to do a lot of climbing on Yam this summer, but I'll go sport or whatever, as long as it's climbing. Couple of my climbing buddies aren't going to be around this summer, so if anyone needs a climbing partner lemme know.

I'm always around, and willing to climb. I am able to take almost any day off work at a moments notice (honeslty I can be back at home, ready to climb at any time in 10 minutes if you call me at work). my work phone / email, home phone / email are on my website. I also check my rockclimbing.com personal messages regularily.
