The weather report this morning said Saturday will hit low 50's!!!
I have to work all night Friday and Saturday, but if the weather looks that good I'm climbing anyway! Probably go to Tilbury to start teaching my brother Trad...

Replace cranking with 'flailing' in my case, and you hit it right on the head. Company is welcome, particularly company with crashpads. *grin*

GO PA!!! Woohoo nice thread!

I've climbed in PA once, and hope to climb there many more times. I find myself in the Central Susquehanna Valley (choss central) a few times a year, and have contacted a few of you before in hopes of finding rock nearby.

gblau and mitch have been helpful, as has anne, scuba (thanks again for the belay at moc) and a slew of others.

I went to Susquehanna U. If any of you ever went there, you know what's up (wink, nudge).

Anyway, good luck with your thread. I look forward to checking it every now and then, and using it to find partners around the random holidays when I visit the land of The Yeung.

I don't live in Pennsylvania... but I lived there for my first 18 years...any chance I would be welcomed here? Pennsylvania is where I got off the ground and I still want to be a part of it.

so... Howdy everyone. Come north come spring and CLIMB!

I wasn't worried about ya'll being friendly; most people from home are. Everyone going to the Gov. Stables comp? I can't make it... I'll be there in spirit. Its amazing that you can have a comp at the end of March... we will still be climbing solid ice up here about then.

OK, I need a partner for This coming Monday or Wednesday. The weather is supposed to be great. I am up for trad or sport. I am interested in going down to Old Rag in VA about 3 hours away if anyone wantes to go. I would also be interested in hitting up Birdsboro or some nice trad in PA that I haven't gotten to yet. I want an all day session here and would really love to do some trad, but sport is cool too. GET AT ME IF YOU WANT TO GO. Oh, I would be wanting to climb at least 5.8-5.10 trad (willing to lead all) and try anything on sport. IF you really want to go and don't climb as hard, don't worry, I love to climb with anyone for real. The more the better. I also love to teach so any newbies are welcom too, PEACE.

Here in WPA we have a few inches to melt away still, plus all the huge piles.

Hey there, does anyone want to come down here this coming Saturday and work a new route at Chickies with me. It is a trad route that hits this roof and I am sure no one has done it yet. Of course, we can climb anything there and it will be an all day event. Come on!!!

OK, here is the deal. For this coming Saturday I am thinking Rock State Park as long as it isn't too much rain for Friday, it is possible I will hit Chickies or Safe Harbor. If anyone wants to come let me know.

Also, for next weekend I am planning a possible trip to Old Rag for Friday and Saturday as long as the weather holds. Does anyone think they want to come. I will lead everything if that is a problem, but anyone and everyone is welcome from Newbie to Oldie. Get at me with a PM or a post, but I would rather a PM. Later ya'll
