so, i'm trying to make dinner and the dog is underfoot. she sees i'm shredding cheese (her favorite) and won't get out of the way. Frustrated, i make the dog lay down on her dog bed in the living room. the dog isn't happy, but obeys. about 10 seconds later the cat goes and sits beside the dog on the bed and then proceeds to body push the dog off the bed with her furry cat ass, taking up most of the bed with her body. the dog is stuck on the corner of the bed. Poor dog, but i must say i was impressed because she stayed until i released her. cats are assholes

My friend has a submissive golden retriever and had a picture of her hamster in the front of the dog and the dog wouldn't go after it.

Jay My apologies, I was just slightly surprised to hear of a third cat named Mishka. The last two I met were owned by Iranians. I can't remember what it means exactly though, I think it was something like timid or shy...

He's extremely outgoing and playful, even with complete strangers. In Russian, "mishka" means "little bear," or something like that. He looked like a bear cub when he was a little kitten, and he still has a klutzy, lumbering bear-like gait. Jay

i'm not sure. i know her mother had some siamese in her. other kittens in the litter had a lighter colouring. like your cat she does have faint rings around her tail. she's quite short in the body, but on the chunky side. she talks all the time and is very social.

Brits were derived from Siamese. The "blue" coloring is characteristic of the breed. They have short legs, stocky bodies, wide faces, and loose skin, which your cat seems to have (though it's hard to tell from a single pic), and they are confident and gregarious. So, I wouldn't be surprised if your cat has some Brit in him. The rings on my cat's tail make him a reject as a showable cat, but neither of us seem to care. Jay
