Jay My apologies, I was just slightly surprised to hear of a third cat named Mishka. The last two I met were owned by Iranians. I can't remember what it means exactly though, I think it was something like timid or shy... Our Mishka is anything but timid or shy. He's extremely outgoing and playful, even with complete strangers. In Russian, "mishka" means "little bear," or something like that. He looked like a bear cub when he was a little kitten, and he still has a klutzy, lumbering bear-like gait. Jay Good to know. He sounds like a lot of fun. You are speaking about a cat??

Cats are great. I wish I had more room in my menagerie for one. I miss the carefully practiced dispassionate stare and heavy lidded slow-blink - which simultaneously betrays a hint of appreciation and mild interest.

Mishka, the one in the picture, is puppy-playful. He actually brings me toys to throw for him to play fetch with. Jay
