About Raven:

At the parking lot go to the left side and follow trail down around to base. The rock is greenstone - metamorphised basalt (a fluid type of lava). Somewhat smooth, but due to the angle at which the strata lies the many incut edges make great holds on the larger, longer west-facing side of the cliff. No continuous crack systems, but certainly enough to safely protect plenty of climbs.
