Since RC.com is only good for Beta I'll give it a shot. LOL
Honestly here, the island is open to climbing and has been for a few decades. Just go climb. I'll handle the mayor if there is a problem.  There won't be a problem, trust me. Some of us local climbers are there daily.
Bring a length of webbing, some dbl length slings and some static if you have it. It all depends on the grade you want to climb and where on the island you will be at. Use the new anchors that were so graciously put in if you can. They were installed in great locations with quality stuff. Try not to extend back to the tree line. I've climbed everything from the 10+ range down as well as put up some routes and there are only a few where trees need to be used. Those routes being closer to the lock.
