Nice TR. Its good to see that WMD is finally getting some climbing in between his driving.

It really is to bad he didn't come climb with us while he was in Canada.

Yall are on the rong side of Canada.
This winter we should arrange something.
Your buddies being on the wrong side of the west coast didn't slow you down.

I already was heading down there!

This winter we have to climb!
I have no screws!LaughWink
Hey Matt, hows it going out there? You get to the next destination yet? Whats that? You aren't getting screwed?

Going great, I'm having the time of my life. I'm in Tuolumne and hooked up with some people today and hopefully the rest of the week. Smile

I thought the .10d was the part you couldn't free climb? (Sorry, I'm a dick).

glad to hear the rock didn't hurt you too bad.

so.. is that what yer gonna name it?Angelic

No, we're naming it after a mutual friend who died in an early season avalanche a couple years ago. He had put a lot of work into a different section of the same cliff before he died and we thought it fitting.

Good for you.

I climbed "On the Lamb" today, what a cool route. 450+ feet of hand traversing on Lamb dome, which may sound lame but it's actually really fun. Anyone done it?

Did someone get a bit put off by a certain thread and the subsequently subjugated it to the realm of the recycling bin? If so, good work, especially if it took the sole proprietor of that thread for a tarpit.

Stuck at the ariport in DC. They are calling it a "weather" delay. Other than the fact that the weather both here and in Portland, ME are stellar i don't know WTF is wrong with the airlines. It's good that they lie to their customers, right?
"We're sorry folks, but flight 3645 to Portland has been delayed 110 minutes due to good weather. Yes folks, it's too nice out for us to fly."
Un-fucking-believable.

So, here I am in Reagan International stuck inside the terminal. My daughter is taking it well. It's nice to be oblivious to all that is going on. That's what Dad is for, I guess? At least I have time to leave and get a few smokes in. (Which I'll be doing in about 20 minutes.)

Yes.. .GUd work. Now, if every post there were automatically removed from the poster's PC totals, I think justice may be closer to being served.

wondering if it has anything to do with the delays I was hearing about last week that happened due to fuck-ups by the computers in control of flight patterns n shit.

I was in Durango for "work" over the past couple of days, they were hosting a biker rally of some kind. That's irrelevant really, just needed to set the stage for this little gem:

Geo's got a red heeler who would kill to trade places with that one, pretty much guaranteed.

I got thoroughly spanked on an OW .7 today that I onsighted this past spring. I guess sitting in a fucking ambulance 36 hours a week and not climbing will do that to a guy.
Fuck it. I made it to the top, now I am just lacking some skin and a few style points.

Nice. I love heelers, just gotta get to the right place in my life to get one.
Brendan, I met a Bull Mastiff today at the crag named Ajax. About 3 yo, and really chill. I suggested they get him a doggy pack and make him haul the rope.

You should have told them to make the bully carry their lunch, and half the rack too!

I think I might need a bigger side car on that thing.

Just got the other computer up and running, so I'll be able to upload photos from my camera. Got some nice ones of the new route, and the big overhang we'll put the alternate finish up... I just need to get my camera back from my partner now.

What sucks more is I can't cut and paste on this computer.
No ctrl-c ctrl-v?
The one I'm on right now will. I couldn't remember the paste code though to try it yesterday.

The one I'm on now doesn't have a scroll wheel. It also wants to choke on this website.

I guess I can't bitch to much though. At least I can burn time on the intardnet while my dad gets sliced and diced.
Not having a scroll wheelpad really sucks.

What in the hell is a scroll pad?
that little section along the right hand margin of my mouse pad that converts scroll gestures into scrolling up or down the page.

handy.
I had that on my laptop Frown Key word HAD.
The company paid $2,000 for my 2.5 pound laptop for travel and insurance is telling me I can replace it for a whole $799. bull shit I told them.
shit. I spilled a beverage on my lappy's keyboard last week, totally effe'd up the thing. If it costs the company $799 to replace just the keyboard pad itself it wouldn't surprise me.

Don't forget to factor in all that expensive software you had loaded on to the the lappy too.Wink

You should learn not to mulit task...as in drive, drink coffee and post.

Yep, I had a lot of licensed software on there, that I will have to factor in.
Not the drivin' that did 'er in.

Just between you and me... what I shouldn't do is try to balance a can of beer on the wrist-rests while I try to step through a sliding door to Geo's back deck. Crazy

i've spilled my fair share of brewskis on my laptop and it is still kicking. some of the keys don't always work on the first time though.
I'm thinkin' it's actually a key that's workin' overtime, won't come unstuck, so it won't let any of the other keys work either.

I'm thinkin' ifwhen they send me a replacement, I'll mehbe try a cleanin' the original with the rubbing alcohol, just soak it directly in the alcohol for a bit, ykwim?
What does that mean?
