This winter we should arrange something. all y'alls outta plan on something in southwest colorado round about middle of January, KWIM? Then we could all climb te_h icy stuff in the day, cuddle beers together in the evenin'. Hmmmm.... might be able to do that this winter. We are contemplating a long trip to my dad's place outside of Vegas for X-mas, with a lot of ice climbing while on the way out and back. Actually a short stay at my dad's with a lot of ice climbing before and after.

I might wuntz the 16s $25/ea sound GUd? They're still sharp, in good condition, just really not necessary seeing as I pucked up 5 new ones in that length. At that price maybe Doc could learn to live without 360's.

In other news.... Bec cleaned up two more of her projects. I wrecked a #4 C4 taking an unexpected meatbomb onto it. And we went to a free MT.bike park that would make Kelly's Brent drool.

I guess I can't bitch to much though. At least I can burn time on the intardnet while my dad gets sliced and diced. Not having a scroll wheelpad really sucks. What in the hell is a scroll pad? that little section along the right hand margin of my mouse pad that converts scroll gestures into scrolling up or down the page. handy. I had that on my laptop Key word HAD. The company paid $2,000 for my 2.5 pound laptop for travel and insurance is telling me I can replace it for a whole $799. bull shit I told them. shit. I spilled a beverage on my lappy's keyboard last week, totally effe'd up the thing. If it costs the company $799 to replace just the keyboard pad itself it wouldn't surprise me. Don't forget to factor in all that expensive software you had loaded on to the the lappy too. You should learn not to mulit task...as in drive, drink coffee and post. Yep, I had a lot of licensed software on there, that I will have to factor in. Not the drivin' that did 'er in. Just between you and me... what I shouldn't do is try to balance a can of beer on the wrist-rests while I try to step through a sliding door to Geo's back deck. i've spilled my fair share of brewskis on my laptop and it is still kicking. some of the keys don't always work on the first time though. I'm thinkin' it's actually a key that's workin' overtime, won't come unstuck, so it won't let any of the other keys work either. I'm thinkin' ifwhen they send me a replacement, I'll mehbe try a cleanin' the original with the rubbing alcohol, just soak it directly in the alcohol for a bit, ykwim? What does that mean? I think someone should not drink and drive.

WMD is currently on his way south to Touloumne Meadows.blissful in his knowledge that so far, unlike E-Kop, his hairline is not beating a quick retreat for the back of his skull, while Hope fullying some of you can hook up with him to climb. Nice TR! Don't be jeluz of my thigh burns. sinz we talk about climbinz, i figure this aren't too far OT.. I stopped in and picked up my shipment of hardware in preparation for ice season: Which also means I'll not be needing these: they're still in pretty damn fine shape... teeth sharp, taken care of over the years, but somehow just not as GUd as the new toys, so there's really no point in me hanging on to them now. I might wuntz the 16s Get 360's. I've got two. I like the BDs for the shorter and medium lengths. 360s suck the balls racking as well. The shortest length really doesn't work well, but the medium and long sizes are the shizzel. I already told you how to rack them. Its not my fault you keep trying to rack them stupidly. Bec and I have 9 of them and we rack them all with no problems. Go on... I'm listening. I've thought of getting a couple of the 360's just to try them out, see what I think of them after getting some field time with them. I think I've had like one time when trying to place a BD screw in an area with limited turning radius that I've said "Hey.. I'd bet a 360 would be tits right here." I really think the 360 got a really bad rap and then people keep propagating it. When they first came out they would have been a pain because the lever would flop around and tangle into everything. The newer ones don't flop around and don't tangle. The other problem was people kept trying to rack them like normal ice screws all on the same biner/clipper, and it just doesn't work. For simple racking rack all your screamers or draws of choice on your harness. If you like the gate of the upper biner facing your body then you need to rotate it so the gate faces out like a clipper. I rack my gates out so I can just leave them as is and it is like an upside down clipper and don't have to do the rotation step. Put a screw on each draw leaving a couple of draws open if you have normal type screws also on your rack. When you get to your stance take the screw off the draw and fire it in. Then grab the draw and clip the screw.

I can't get nearly as GUd a deal on the 360's that I do on the others.
