This is the second time I've done this. The other time was with the other knee. The worst thing about this being the second time around is that I know exactly what the shitty weeks ahead have in store for me. Not fun at all. Plus, this time around I'm going to have a 2 year old and a 3 year old wanting me to hold them and carry them around. Bad times.

Worse yet, you'll sit down and lean the crutches against the wall and they'll start fighting over who gets to play with them. Knocking them over in the process and into your sore knee.

They've already started that. Last night I look over and see my three year old lifting one up trying to stand it upright. As he's doing it I hear him saying to himself, "easy, easy, steady now." As soon as he got it upright, he'd let go and yell "RUN!" as he hauled ass away from it as it fell. Funny, that.
