Surgery successful. Not dead at least. Not as much pain as the last time I had this done to the other knee. They gave me a femoral nerve block, which is similar in theory to an epideral. It numbs the entire femoral nerve for about 24 hours and really helps with the pain management. But like most good things, it won't last so tonight may be interesting. They are starting my physical therapy this morning in a couple of hours. Muscle atrophy sucks.

god, if i had a pair of pruning shears, i'd cut this bloody cast off. the leg itches and feels so constricted. it feels like i'm suffering from leg claustrophobia.

And most of us aren't too gimpy. Mostly me  . Doc's accident is still pretty recent, and you do have some hardware, Mr. Monkey....but you got that a long time ago.
It's not like back in the day when the_climber was still hanging out there with his bad ankle, Doc was on crutches, and Sno had her bum knee.....what ever happened to her anyway?
