i'm coming...

how bout 7am at the campsite?
ok looks like we have a meeting time at the campsite sat morning. probably make it to the trail head around 7:30. for those of you who think its too early don't complain about it to me just meet us down at the crag when you wake yourself up  sunday morning the meeting time will most likely vary depending on how early we can get our butts up. if you're coming up to climb only sunday you can try meeting us at the campground first or just head on over to willie and meet us there.

Precisely. Like I said, NOT jazz. I'm not a music theory guru or anything, but there's no way that $hit is in the same category as Miles & Co. And, I'm SO sorry your parents listen to it. Ugh. Torturous.

Is anyone driving up for the day Sunday?

i think there are a couple of people who will be coming up for the day sunday. you and runningclimber should hook up, then her boyfriend can go shopping for the day  then she wont have to convince him that climbing IS more important then shopping

*here's a thought, kenny G and john tesh should be stripped of what little musical talent they have and put into clown suits and sent to work in the circus.*

Okay, cool. Runningclimber- want to carpool? Where are you in LA? PM me.

John Tesh & Kenny G should both just be sent somewhere where we'll never have to hear from them again. Like Guantanamo...

ok climbers, here's the deal for this weekend if you joining us....

myself and a few other will be driving up friday night and we'll be getting a campsite for 2 nights at the buckhorn campground. anyone can join us friday night if they don't feel like driving up in the morning sat. we'll snag another campsite sat morning so we've got 2 for sat night. if you're staying sat night try and car pool, only 2 cars per campsite. we may end up having to get a 3rd campsite just to accomidate extra cars, but we'll see. only $12 per campsite split between a few people its only a couple bucks, come with $1 bills

saturday we're going to plan on meeting at the trail head to williamson around 7:30 to 8. if you want to meet up with us at the campground a little early sat and set up a tent to reserve your spot or grab another site come early. campgrounds usually have a spot for messages near the entrance. i'll post a note up saying something like "williamson weekend campsite #" then you'll be able to find us if you want. feel free to bring some extra firewood and some beer

sunday we'll probably end up meeting at the trail head a little later maybe 8 or 8:30 just to give us time to break down camp. if you're going to join us for just sunday you can meet us at the campsite, the trail head or down at the crag, which ver you chose.

look forward to climbing with you all this weekend.

cheers,
jason

Rockdancer, I wish I could committ to carpooling. Unfortunately I am about 50/50 on being able to go at all! Aside from the aforementioned boyfriend-who-likes-to-shop, I am leaving for a trip to Africa next week and have alot of sh!t to get together. :( I hope to see you guys up there though!

Are you sure the campground is open? What's the contigency plan? I'm still not sure if I'm going with you on Friday, or with my GF on Saturday... what time were you gonna leave on Friday?

EDIT: I just called, they didn't say it was closed, but they did say that the first vehicle is $18 and the second is $8... wtf?

Contigency plan:

JT may be able to provide more info, but in seasons past climbers would camp in the small parking lot at the trailhead. Depending on the numbers this may not be possible.

Just a thought

Maurice, if you come to San Pedro we can carpool. Then it's just the half way for you.
We'll take our van, so we have 5 seats open.

See you.

hey everyone,

new update for this weekend.

looks like matt is going up friday night and i'll be coming up saturday morning with mountainchick. we're going to stop at the campsite at 7 and get another campgroud in addition to the one matt is getting. we'll have to work it out later if we need additional campsites. i'm under the impression that its $12 per campsite. if davids right then its gonna cost more. i dunno i haven't been to this campsite in a long time so i'm just going on what i've been told. if you're camping come with a little extra cash to chip in for the site or to get your own. if everyone does then it will only amount to a couple dollars for each of us.

we're still meeting at the trail head between 7:30 and 8 for those of you just coming up for the day. same goes for sunday.

look forward to climbing with you all this weekend. PM me if you have any questions.

cheers,
jason
