Shitty.
Give the cat some bourbonrat poison for breakfast.
I'll give you rat poison!
if it would help make this cod I'm coming down with less bothersome, I'd take it!
Dude, where are you coming down to? if it's anywhere near me, don't use the rat poison.
dunk that cod in some batter, roll it in breadcrumbs, and shove it in the fryer- we'll get some chips to go with it, and drownz it in salt and vinigar.

Nope. Besides it was in my house so my insurance covers it. I am fighting with the insurance company and I will win.

Not crashed into it, but was riding up front, came around a corner and the moose was standing on the path. The noise scared him so he walked into the bush.

Do tell

Grant, Paul (who you met last summer at Lake Louise), and 2 others went to the Bugaboos this week. They got back around midnight last night. I've advised both of them that there are better way of making it into the papers:

http://bc.rcmp.ca/...rue&languageId=1

Grant will do anything for a little ice.
I think even this time he was cursing the ice.

By the sounds of it they were literally plucked off the mountain via long line in th ONLY window of opportunity to do so, which was quite a small opportunity. They were pretty much told straight out that if they hadn't been able to have flown them off when they did, there wouldn't have been another weather window for days. Hearing the conditions they were in, I'm not sure if Grant would have made it another night. He seems to think so, but based on my experiences with hypothermia I'm not so sure. As far as a ground crew goes... well they had close to 100 people on stand by, but the fact of the matter is the conditions we bad enough that "maybe" a crew could have gotten "close" to their location. Maybe within a 150-200m, but that's about it.

They've officially joined the Epic Club.

I'm just glad those 2 are still alive.

A photo TR.

Met with WMD on Monday for some Tahoe area climbing. Spent Monday at Donner and River Rock:

Crashed at my parent's house on Monday night and then went to the Leap on Tuesday:

WMD's modifications to his car are superb. Sitting in the back was actually quite comfortable.

There it is. WMD is currently on his way south to Touloumne Meadows. Hopefully some of you can hook up with him to climb.

Nice TR. Its good to see that WMD is finally getting some climbing in between his driving.

It really is to bad he didn't come climb with us while he was in Canada.

shit. I spilled a beverage on my lappy's keyboard last week, totally effe'd up the thing. If it costs the company $799 to replace just the keyboard pad itself it wouldn't surprise me.

Don't forget to factor in all that expensive software you had loaded on to the the lappy too.Wink
