thats one bad ass monkey. sadly im not a fan of it i mean it looks like the monkey from the movie super troopers ya know the monkey thats on all the bricks of pot jacking off a banana ya that monkey. its cool an all but i think its kinda of odd that somehow rc.com became associated with a monkey that jacks off banana's?!

meh I can live with the color change, the logo change (it's growing on me),
I still haven't gone around the site and checked everything else out yet, like the linds and that sorta stuff, so I'll let you know after I do that
don't really like the old blue with color scheme though.
and any of you that don't like the color....at least it ain't pink like here

so after some cruising around I've found:
the route's DB will take some getting used to, I'm not sure i like the whole world map thing and would rather see country drop down list
there does seem to be quite a lot of wasted space throughout the pages
I really miss the point and click menu on the left hand side of the pages, just made navigation a bit easier
I'm still up in the air about the color, it's not getting any better now that the inital shock has worn off, but it's not getting any worse. I do find it harder to look at the screen though, almost like it should be a bit darker color if anything.

1. NOT a fan of the blue-text-on-black-background at the top. "Hello ....Not sticky_fingers? ...."
2. I miss the additional info originally offered on the old front page. Even if it wasn't updated often and most people didn't read it.
3. Monkey logo? yah fine, whatever :?
4. Color? hmmm...i guess ok...kinda implies either everybody decks on this site, or we're up soooooo high the whole world is light brown to us
5. i'm kinda drunk right now, so imagine comments 1-4 with me holding one leg up in the air, a la Capt. Morgan's

its alright...i can live with it i guess only if the old buttond and text color is changed to [brown]brown[/brown] or something
cuz the blue and old grey buttons kinda kills the forum/site theme
i think a cool logo would suit better....

yeah, um... can we change it back on our own computer? if they're gonna make something this brown, and monkey-ish....we should be able to choose not to have it.
or, is this a ploy, so only paying members can have a color theme besides this poo colored one we have right now?

Well, this is a real surprise. The color scheme doesn't bother me too much (though I liked the old one better); I'm baffled by the monkey logo, but could learn to live with it.
The one thing I really don't like is the loss of the navigation bar on the left side of the page. Any chance of getting that back??

[edit] That goes double for the routes database; the added clicks to get to US section is annoying. For now, I'm bypassing it by creating another "favorites" bookmark, but I sure hope the old nav bar comes back.

Seriously though. The new logo Sucks Ass, and is a poor representation of RC.com.
Because I'm not one to just bitch about something without giving an alterative solution. Here's one. Change the logo back to the old one and when the day arrives where the logo is no longer good enough and members voice their dislike of the old logo, change it. Until then lets focus on improving on the things on RC.com that don't work, instead of trying to fix the things that do.

havent figured out how i like the color yet..
one thing that got lost was the float over the __ Friends Online was nice to see who was on without having to click off the page you were reading
edit RE: data base..
any way of perhaps seperateing Canada, US, central/south america? that may make things easier for the people not liking that part

hmmm...interesting. i was kinda shocked to see the new RC.com. i thought i had gone to the wrong website at first. its gonna take some time to get used to the new look but not too bad so far. i like the earthy looking colors. the monkey is weird thou.
