OK Jo, I'm available most Tuesdays and Saturdays, and I like climbing at your level. But you did not tell us what city you live in! Come back, -- Daniel (Editted to add...) Oops I forgot to add ... I live in Calgary, I spend a lot of time in K-Country!

Hi Erick I've taken loads of people up and was always more than happy to be able to do that but this year is all about me I am coming back after not climbing too hard for couple of years due to illness and this year is my first year in the Rockies. I need well seasoned partner with good gear around knowledge and solid head as I would like to push my limits a bit. Next year I be more than happy to show you the ropes. Thanks, Anna

Just a couple of points here. While I'm not particularly looking for partners, I don't mind meeting new climbers and I've taken a few beginners out too. I mostly climb weekends although this weekend is already organized but e-mail me if you want to climb sometime. I see new climbers looking for partners but they often have pretty empty profiles. I like to see who I may rope up with but mystery climbers don't inspire me to PM them. Fill out the profiles - be honest, and you may get more responses peeps. It also helps to see what areas people want to climb or if you're looking for sport/trad, or my fave - ice. Until the season starts up again, have fun on rock

hey, I'm not desperately looking for climbing partners right now, but its always good to meet other climbers (esp as it can be pain lining up people with the same days off sometimes). I'm in Banff & have gear but no car. Keen to get out climbing sport &/or trad... need to get fit again. I climb sport to about 5.11, back home I was climbing the same on trad but I'm not so sure about trad limestone - I need to climb more here before I'm comfortable leading harder trad things. Once winter comes back I'll be out on ice also. Have plans to do a fair few multi-pitch things locally this summer, as well as trips to the Bugaboos & Squamish (August probably). I just want to get fitter so I can do these bigger things. drop me a line (email is better) if you're keen to get out. I'm free evenings & Fri-Sat-Sun. although the weather is shite here today, we'll see if it clears up in the next few days. later, James.

I'm looking for climbing partners for the next four months... sport, trad, alpine, bouldering. I've been climbing for about 3 years, and can lead mid-10s sport. I can lead 5.8 on trad at Squamish but when it comes to the Rockies, I'm more conservative. Currently, I live in Calgary, but will be in Banff from the end of August until the end of October. I'm interested in climbing with anyone who is safe and fun. I have some weekdays off as well as most weekends. Send me a PM if interested.

I am mainly a trad and alpine climber at moderate grades. Can climb true 5.9 trad and lead hard ice. Enjoy alpine routes like east ridge of temple. I have august and september off with only a small portion of it booked and am looking for easy going, experienced partners to climb with. I am open to where and what( bugs, squamish, terrace, rockies alpine. Also don't mind a little casual craging. Anyone interested drop me a line.

Hello everybody, I currently live in Belgium and am planning a month-long trip to Canada's west coast in September. I'm flying into Calgary and am willing to sample your deservedly famous rock - and need a partner during the week of sept 1-10. Anyone around and available? I like it all - sport, trad, alpine, will follow up to 5.11, lead up to 5.10...'d love to go to the bugs, or just stick to multipitch sport, or get a belay at a crag in the worst case.

The summer weather in Calgary is so wonderful it's hard to stop smiling. But I want more... I have this Thursday and Friday off (July 19-20) and I'm looking for anybody to head into the mountains those days, anywhere in the Rockies. I'll go anywhere with anybody (hey! I'm easy). So if you can take me along, then drop me a PM or email. If I can meet you in Calgary, the train takes me almost anywhere I want to go.

Hi, If you all have time and hunger for climbing just go with me. I'm a Belgian climber visiting my sister in Calgary. I like to continue climbing while being in such a great environment as the rockies. I'm a skilled climber and for sportclimbing I climb as a leader 5.10a/b an I follow in 5.10 c/d. I like to go this Wednesday-Thursday-Friday (July 25-26-27). If you are interested mail me on leentjeverboven@msn.com or phone me (403) 288 6787

Hi everybody, I'm living in Canmore untill the end of August and unfortunately, I lost my old partner a few weeks ago. He decided to have a trip to Vancouver... what an idea ?! hahaha Anyway, like most of you here, I'd like to find a reliable partner to climb with. I can lead 10 A-B sport routes and I'm 100% willing to climbing before and after the work and during my days off. I also have a car and my own rope. I'm also very interested in Trad climbing, so if you're a Trad climber looking desperately for a partner, I'd really like to climb with you. I have some gear (nuts, tri-cams and slings) and knowledge about Trad and I feel ready to discover to this challenge. I'm a quick learner with whom you won't get bored. Please, leave me a note at danycou@hotmail.com Thx guys !

Hey everyone, I live in Calgary and am also looking for a reliable, safety-conscious climbing partner. I can lead 10a,b(,c on a good day) sport and am happy to follow 10c,d (11a on a good day). I also lead easy trad routes (5.7-8) and will follow up to the low 10s. I've got a couple of ropes, gear, car, and am looking to do more multi-pitching (sport or trad) this year. But really, the grades and the type of climbing doesn't matter too much. I just want to get out there. Cheers.

hey y'all, long story, but I'm in calgary till sunday and need to go climbing before I leave at least once (was supposed to go several times, but again, long story...) so, if anyone's free and up for anything (heck, i'd settle for bouldering at this point!) and can give a lift (oh, and has gear...suitcase isn't big enough for my whole rack!) on tomorrow, thursday morning, or saturday, drop me a line here or at 802-598-2555. cheers! -desperate mo

Is there no shame? I am booked up through to Monday but you could probably find something by just showing up with climbing gear . Lake Louise can be pretty friendly with most climbing starting around 5.9 Grassi can be a great place to meet people. Helmet required for the Golf course wall. Heart Creek First rock and Bunny Hill (not as easy as it sounds) are also places where you could catch a ride on a top rope. None of them are "bouldering destinations" (we don't have those around here) but you could boulder a little and "fish for an invite" Good luck! B
