Not that I can see it from work - I went home during lunch, though, to see it - but here's a pic of me flying from a .12b/c on Sunday.

Considering that the route is overhanging in entirety, all of the falls are down and in. The swing wasn't bad, as there was plenty of room on the up axis of the pendilum to slow before I touched the wall.

Pre-hung draw (actually, fixed draw). They're all over Waimea at Rumney, considering that it has the largest concentration of hard routes in the US on that wall. I looked at Jaws II (.15a?) and some other ones there. Impressive is all I can say. That draw in the background is on a .13b. I was on a .12b/c. Gud times.

I'm going to take a stab in the dark and guess that you, well, had "consummed" some of those "consummables" when you made the decision to bring it all into the Valley.
that was SOP back in the day. Well, night too. In fact, I was mildly surprised when 14 days later I tested negative. I thought it would have taken more on the order of 14 months, what with my history and all.

GU. I remember looking at that wall and just wondering how the fuck anyone could climb that. didn't sharma put up some of the hard stuff on there? The curvey wall that looks lie a smooth grey horizontal wave is the best way I can describe it.

I laugh when people scoff at olympic champions testing positive for marijuana, they think it could never be performance enhancing.

The fact of the matter is... in my experience it enhances life in almost all facets of life, with very few exceptions. Relationships with non-tokers being the notable one.

First lesson:

Don't bring six weeks worth of one's consummables of choice INTO the park. Bury it somewhere safely OUTSIDE the park, bringing with you only what you anticipate needing during your stay in the park.Unimpressed

Back in the day.

Ahhh yes, abck in the day, I remember "Back in the Day"... Well parts of it atleast.
Summers of hard work, hard partying, hard climbing.... manual labour jobs (that really didn't take much thought to do)... Waking up, consume, drive to work, consume, work, consume, work more, consume more...

Ahhh... the day.
hahah back in the day. Wonder if your consumables were the same as my consumables back in the day?
Ah to be young. Party party then work then do it all again..and again.

Likely there were of the same variety.
Given that all that suff up for the most part, just the occational leaf now... and even that's a very rare occation. Typically only to get to sleep fast before an alpine start.
Same with me. The only bad habit I kept from the good ol dayz is the beer. You should go post your 2cents in the "does weed affect sex" thread. hahahah

I've more than kept up the beer comsumption. BeerMonkeyBeer

As for the weed and sex thread... I Don't think my responce is the answer the OP wants to hear.
That exact reason is why I didn't post there, although mine would be the female perspective

Deep, penetrating thoughts?

Sorry, You left that way too open not to say it.Unimpressed

Funny thing for me was the versatility of it... my reaction mostly depended on what I needed to do.

Work my ass off without feeling the pain? Yeah, it would do that.

Allow me to flow like nothing else down a powder-covered slope on a smnowboard? Yeah, that too.

Needz to be teh sleepy? Rarely, though on occasion when I needed it.

just go into the bathroom and throw a lit ciggy into the trash can.

Make sure there's no cameras watching the hallway first though.
