I think I'll just try to evict them and maybe they will go over there and he can catch them and pay someone to take them away. I need to get some ammonia. Apparently they don't like the smell of it.

Salary. And I took a cut in pay. That was the negotiation. Bruce and I will just have to cut back on food. Kids can eat kraft dinner 24-7 Kraft Dinner isn't that cheap, unless you get it on sale 12 for $5. That's even cheaper than the generic stuff.

Of course, we can't hardly afford to buy a new table right now :S.

obsessed wrote: Yaaa Party time on the deck!! Looks awesome. Are you going to treat the cedar? I love the colour of fresh cedar, but then it turns grey. Ours is so grey. I was thinking of sanding it this year. I love the trellis and flower box. Very nice touch. You would need to powerwash the deck and use a deck cleaner to make it look nice. Sanding could help get rid of splinters. Is your deck cedar or treated? You can use colored sealer to make the treated look better. Yes we are going to put a protector on it. The sucky thing with that is you need to keep doing it every couple of years. I shoulda used the composite decking. But that would have made it really expensive.

And the flower box is so Bec can plant something that will grow fast to cover the trellis since the stuff growing out of the ground will take a while to get that tall and full.

So in other news, I hate work. Only 4 months in and I'm already burning out. Gah. Too bad I've got to stick it out till all our renos are done and paid for. And get my PEng. And it would be great to take advantage of them when I have to go in for a couple of surgeries. But I still hate my job.

I work for General Motors, they are laying off 70 salaried and over 700 hourly people from their assembly plant in Oshawa, Ontario in September. There are also three plant in Michigan going through similar downsizing. There's a ton of people out there that could do my job. You really think I have anything in the way of bargining power?

I'm still not sure how I want to have the flower box under the trellis. Sexy!! Sexy as a pregnant woman? Thanks I guess. Yeeeaaahhh!! Seriously though, it's a pretty cool lookin' deck. I reckon it'll be big enough to party on or grill on. You guys going to put a flower garden all the way around for people to roll into and pass out?

A while back I could smell this skunky nastiness in our basement. I think it might have been the skunks under the step.
