I didn't build the front step.

I put chicken wire around the perimeter of the deck and buried it to hopefully keep them out of under there.

But getting back to our conversation about bodies, I think Doc might have been right. A while back I could smell this skunky nastiness in our basement. I think it might have been the skunks under the step.

I have heard that the only thing stinkier than a skunk is a dead skunk.

My cousin ran over a Skunk with her Camaro a number of years ago... ended up dragging the stink rodent a few hundered meters down the road (lower ground clearence). It was a damn hot summer that year too, and no amount of engine degreaser could get the smell away, especially when the engine warmed up.Crazy

I wouldn't really call them mountains. More like big ski hills. I will put up a picture tonight

fuckin rain.

All the weather predictions I read for Saturday, as well as the weather on Saturday said that it would be cloudy with a chance of rain in the evening. We were driving at 6 AM and it starts pouring. I was a bit over half-way there. So, I did what any respectable climber would do.

I turned the fuck around and went home. I grabbed the rest of my rack (I take only what is needed for a given area) and head 1 hour in the opposite direction to do some Maine coast climbing, where we had a wonderful day.

It started raining, too, though only after we made it back to the trailhead in the afternoon. Drove 5 hours to make it to the area that is 47 minutes from my house. We should have went to Acadia.

Fuckin Rain...
Sounds like a shitty weekend.
I slept in the woods with a bunch of smelly dudes, no beer(As a respectable alcoholic, i did have a flask.), and a smattering of rain.
I feel your pain.

Now that Toady is gone, maybe we can vote/add as a suprise for her when she gets back.

I agree. Especially when you have to pay back a sports debt. Like I did this weekend. Although it was fun getting him back. I stuffed my Bruins jersey with towels and put it in his bed with a note "sleeping with the enemy" After the habs loss on Sat it was perfect.
