How has everyone placed themselves into the categories? Did you see any sandbagging going on at Houndears? Do you go by your average of ten problems..hardest send... where you flash stuff? I placed myself into the intermediate division but certainly cant flash any of those grades and have maybe 1 V5 all time. Its all about having a good time...right ..i know but who doesnt want to win?

I thought that the ratings at houndear were pretty soft really... I entered intermediate, and I felt bad, because first thing in the morning I onsighted 2 V5's, and I can NEVER do that at boulderfields around here. I also spent a considerable ammount of time working V6's because I liked the lines, and the moves, but never sent one. Then at the end of the day I realized tat sending a V6 gets you bumped to advanced (ummm...). So regardless, I feel like my divisionin is sandbagged, because the people that won had to send at least 5 or 6 V5's, and that is the upper limit of the difficulty in the div. So in conclusion, screw it, I'm going to go for the fun, and excitement. I'm not going to worry about sandbagging or being competitive. I had a blast at HE, and am sure I will at LRC as well. See y'all there!!! Travis

i entered in intermediate and didnt climb that good. at houndears my friend won the intermediate comp by doing all 5's and a 6. this is ok but if you do two or more 6's or a 7 then you will get bumped up.
