HELP!!!

Ok so the voting has begun for the 2007 Colorado Firefighters calendar.

You will be voting for the cover model....currently a fat, old guy has people "bombing" the voting and has like 1000 votes!!

http://firedupforkids.org/?page=site/voting_form

This is where you can vote....I'm on the bottom of the page and need your help!!!

Apparently you can vote all you want so feel free to hit the back button and vote like 50 times!!!

Tell your friends!!!
Thanks!!

josh

I voted. That big wall of orange won't be overtaken anytime soon with 12,600 votes to the second-place guy's 3,700, but I'm doing my part to stuff the ballot box.

So, with all the life-saving you guys do, you still have a lot of time to work your abs. (don't ever change)

I can't believe nobody has posted your photo!

Sorry I missed everyone at Shelf this weekend. I had to replace rototrs and pads on my Bronco. I'll try to make it to HAppy Hour this week. Also I work nights so if anyone wants to climb during the day let me know.

nice climbing with you guys at happy hour today, jen, cindy, and dave...sorry to dpurf that i didn't get to climb with you...escorting the 8 yr old up and down the climbs was more time consuming than i thought.

and kudos to the crew that's lugging gear up there to clean up the stuff that an unnamed govt agency said shouldn't be cleaned...

in the same spirit as the cleaning crew, and after having slipped on the descent back to the car from happy hour crag too many times, and knowing that there's not really one set trail, and sometimes the trail coincides with the water runoff, etc...

is anyone interested in getting some peeps together for some trail maintenance? i'm thinking lining one or two main traills with rocks, and/or blocking off the h20 runoff areas, so as to direct foot traffic over/thru one area, and leave less impact.

i've never been involved in something like that before, so i have no idea what all it takes, who'd need to be contacted, and all of that. perhaps i'm out of my league, i don't know. i know a lot of you on this thread, so i know i can post that i'm kinda clueless and not be flamed for being a noob climber, etc. perhaps this needs(and will get, depending on responses, interest, etc) it's own thread, cos i know there's a lot of locals who don't frequent or know about this thread...

whaddya think? unneccessary? good idea? worth the time and effort? is there some kind of monetary cost involved in something like this? which authorities(if any) would need to be brought in/asked for permission/authorization, etc..?

Looking for regular climbing partner. Went to Happy Hour Crag 2x last week, but looking for someone who can go regular, wkday after work, etc. I have rope etc, and am ordering sport equipement and crashpad. Open to Trad, just never did it. Toprope 5.9-10, lead 5.8 or so.

Anyone want to climb today?

To everybody who was thinking of doing a 14er with me this weekend, Im still thinking Sherman cuz its one of the shortest / easiest out there. Some people who had some interest have never done one before and it would my first of the season as well. Not one of the most aesthetic hill but I think that would would be a safe bet for everyone.

thoughts?

TUESDAY HAPPY HOUR CRAGG'IN!!!

Second longest day of the year. We are hitting Upper Dream Canyon. I should be at the parking area for Dream by 5. Probably starting off at Lost Angel and working our way from there. Shorty you going to make it? I got my Captain Morgan stance down pat.

Who's in???
