I'm planning on heading up thursday night so I can be there bright and early to help set up on friday. Is burnwood going to be populated yet, or is it just going to be me and my girl? Also, my girlfriend will be coming with me instead of on saturday morning. Think she'll be able to help out somewhere?

I'm definitely excite to help out and partake in the festivities. If I don't have a camera, can I still go to your clinic?

Any idea what time Burnwood will open on Thursday? We'll be camping at Roger's Wednesday night and would like to move our tents before we head out climbing if possible.

Cool. I think I might be in attendance to that then. I'm pretty pumped about this upcoming weekend. I was at Beer Wall this weekend, and I was amazed at how few people were around. Parking lot was full, but I only saw about 4 other people that were playing around on ?? Saint Pauly's Girl ?? the whole time. For the festival's sake, I hope there are a lot more people around.

I think the official free camping start is Friday night, but if you're helping with set up on Friday, I think we can find you some space. We do want to avoid anything that resembles a mad dash for good camping on Thursday, though. The NPS might not be so happy with that. Rebecca! Stop fretting about clinic costs. Your priorities should be: 1. Get here. 2. Have fun. 3. Donate/bid what you're comfortable with. If you show up with nothing, you're still our good buddy and we'll treat you right. As for beer, here's the thing: once you get back to Burnwood in the evenings, don't plan on leaving, because you might not be able to get back in. The police are going to clamp down on anything resembling drunk driving, so we're taking it a step further and discouraging driving, in general. If you leave when it's crowded, you might lose your parking spot, which will be in high demand. Bringing your own beer in is AOK (no glass bottles per NPS). Just make sure you get all you need before coming back into Burnwood.

Ah Jay, you see I have a very boring job which allows me to fret about the small details. I'm at home home now, one of those strong Quebec beer in me and feeling much more relaxed ;). I'm just stoked about the weather, the clinics and a chance to meet some pretty rad people when I'm out.

Oh, well set you up at Burnwood, so you don't have to move around. And actually, I'm beginning to get reports that help is needed at Burnwood RIGHT NOW. I don't think anybody will be allowed to camp there until Thursday night, but if anybody makes it out a day or two early and helps, we'll make sure you have a place to crash -- either at my place (or dbrayack's?).

Hey j_ung, I've emailed Your Lady and the 'Web Lady' . I will go straight to Burnwood to help there. Provided the cake pan releases...I'm giving up on the famous cheesecakes this year in lieu of individual bug cakes. That's right ... Bugs!

So other than a couple of RC.com users that I've PMed with and have arranged to meet I have no idea how I'm going to recognize others that I'd like to meet off this site. I wish I had some sort of defining characteristic, but I shouldn't even have to use my trekking poles around the campground any more (I will probobly still have them on the trails though, so keep an eye out for me!). There are also some more subtle scars you could watch for me, but (fortunally) they're not really obvious. Anyway, hope I meet a lot of you guys out there. It'll be nice to actually see some of you in the flesh!

To reiterate chalker's idea (I think it was his), we need to write our rc.com names in sharpie on our foreheads.

I'm officially in. I have a babysitter for Thur - Sun. I'll be coming down late Thursday night. I don't have a partner for the event, so if you all need help Friday, I'd be more than happy to lend a hand. I'm not sure where Burnwood is, but I'm sure it's easy enough to find. I've only camped down there one other time, and I can't remember the name of the place. Anyway, I'm pretty excited. I've missed all other years because of family events.

w00t!!! I'm leaving today right after work. I'm hoping I didn't forget anything at home that I'll have to go back for, but if things go smoothly I shouldn't be showing up too late.

I'm leaving right after work myself. But, it only takes me 2 hours to get there. I really hope this rain doesn't make for some sloppy rock days. Maybe we will end up implementing some mud wrestling. haha

I'll be there with a couple buddies in tow. We'll be there EARLY friday morning, driving all night thursday. Sounds like it will be just in time to hop out and do some yoga. See you all there! P.S. What's this about no glass bottles? How the heck can anyone bring any decent alcohol to this gig then?
