hey, you stick to your Gangsta sport's I'll watch one where they still play because they love the game... josh So hockey players do it for the love of the game? Hmm i would've swore they played for a big paycheck. Most rockclimbers do it for the love of the sport, becuase we pay to do it. I'm quite sure that if i had the gift to do a sport for that multi-million dollar payout, i'd love the shit out of it to. Hell what do i know.

When is the last time you heard of an NBA or NFL player spending most of their teenage life away from their families to play on a shitty junior team in bum f**k canada..just to hopefully get good enough to play in the Big league? Also when is the last time you heard of an NHL player who was shot or fired shots in a gang related shooting? How about fighting dogs? There are plenty of example's. While i would never argue that (most) of the NHL players get paid very well, and that that is certainly a reason they do it, I would argue that you'd find more players in the NHL who worked a lot harder and appreciate were they are more than most in the NBA or NFL. Now thread drift aside...back to the talk of the Ouray Drinking er....ice climbing festival! josh
