Hey all. I rolled in a couple of hours ago and just had dinner. I may sleep in tomorrow after that drive, then head over to the park to mess around.
I'm partnerless on Thursday if anyone is interested, or if you don't mind another body climbing with you in the park.
RE: Driving. The road from Montrose to Ouray was fine (and I'm not in a good winter car), but they are expecting snow tonight--something between a dusting and 4 inches. I put the chains on tonight just in case...
OK. I'm beat after the long drive and a couple of 1554s at dinner.

Not. I'm bummed because I was really looking forward to the whole fun experience, from meeting you guys, parties, and getting into a new active winter sport. I was even working out my triceps gettin' ready for ice!!

Heading out tomorrow for the fest. Getting from Durango to Ouray is going to be a bitch though. We are getting dumped on again and the passes are a mess. If you are coming up via Durango, you better check road conditions.

Red Mountain Pass is closed right now (Wed, Jan 9, 1125 am local time.)
Lizard Head Pass is open, but drive careful and maybe bring tire chains. It just keeps snowing and snowing here in Ouray.

help! were stranded in denver or at least will be once they stop delaying our flight from detroit as of now were sleighted to land at 1030 tonight as aresult were missing our flight to montrose and they're booked for the next two days theres 3 of us so if you've got a reliable car and were considering coming well pick up the gas please PM me thanks lisa

So a girlfriend is leaning on me to come down with her and her bf. If I can work out the transportation (mostly need a ride back to SLC) and now I need a place to crash, since I cancelled my room, silly me  . We would lv Thurs evening so I'll sleep on it and decide sometime before 7 pm tomorrow.
The snow pics look awesome! Wow. maybe I should bring my XC or AT skis, that would give me something else to do, since I"m a total rookie ice wench.
Have fun at buen tempo, slurp down a margarita for me!

Friday, figure on an early start. 7-730 am or so.
Saturday, maybe not so much of an early start, depending on volume of beer drank the night before.

I have a friend coming in from Salt Lake who is going to head back on Sunday. He said he could take you home.
