A bunch of 5.7-8ish stuff. My partner wanted to do most of the leading, so I only led one OW suckfest just to humble them.
That BITCH!!!

You need to find some new pardners.
This was a new partner. I was a bit leary of doing any harder leads yesterday, so it is not all his fault.

Its a bit slow.
That was yesterday. I'm about to go kayak part of a river this morning, and then classes in the afternoon.
I wish my life were that simple again.

But noooooo. I'm on my way out from my desk to do work. It's too feggin early. Then more work at my desk (which will probably be replaced with mah bed at home, since I am super tired and have a headache).

Laturz
Yeah it is great to be young and free of responsibilities.
And money?
Welfare is great. The gubment keeps givin me this money.

Doc, you gave me some bad beta. Sound like its more the incisions that'll cause problems with getting my hardware out, and I should be able to sit in a harness in maybe less than a month after surgery (taking ALL the hardware out).

I'm okay with not leading, I just didn't want to stop climbing altogether for multiple months.

They'll call me when it gets closer to surgery date. Though it might take up to a year Pirate.

I see. But now you have set the tone. You will be the subman.

Good on doing the offwidth. Maybe that will counter being the subman

I tried an offwidth last weekend.
I didn't get very far.

Yes. It also looks like I'm also on the list to have my tear duct reconnected to drain back into my nose. That'll be in 4 to 6 months. I'm really excited about the idea of not having a drippy eye anymore.

Good for you! I didn't know about the drippy eye, that must be annoying as hell. Glad you are going to get it fixed.

Sorry. I guess staying at a holiday inn express is no substitute for a doctorate in orthopedic surgery. I wish you the best with the removal tho.

Yes, but it was a group of three, so I gained another subman while becoming that same thing. Give and take.

The stretch of river I had planned on taking three hours took 1:45. Still fun though.

It's going to be a fairly busy next few days, but I'm mainly packed. My motivation the last day has been shot.... all I can think about is going on vacation and seeing my wife. Getting there will be an interesting 24 hours. I reckon I'm ready!

Its an Aussie marriage ritual.

The man goes and lives in the wild for two years and when he comes back if he still has a wife it was meant to be.

Since there is no outback in the States Texas is the next best thing.
