Well someone once put a route with the a simple question mark[?] on the tape. Then someone to put a route up with a semicolon.[;] Pretty funny in my opinion.:P

Funeral For a Friend, Dome Rock CA There was the wreckage of the motorcycle scattered thru the trees at the base for years. Bald Women With Power Tools J Tree Now there's a disturbing mental image. Actually The Open Book predates Robins FFA. John Mendenhall and Harry Sutherland aided it in 1947 with wooden wedges made from 2X4s

I doubt that as the Mechanics Route is right next door and was done and named in 1937. It is to obvious a name for the feature to have not been in common use.

Back in the 1980's, when Salman Rushdie's book infamous book came out, I looked desperately for a traversing route that I could name "The Satanic Traverses". Alas, I never find the unclimbed line that I could use the name for.
