The organization and search of the photos especially how they are linked to the routes is so far superior that RC will never compete with that.

Best place to put climbing photos: WWW.CascadeClimbers.com Mountain Project is a close second.

DMT Among other things, especially apathy as far as content (even maintaining what was here when they bought it), concerned mainly with page hits and advertising. The RDB was HUGE, and had active managers for their regions... Not so much anymore, and they've even made it harder to manage it. ALL photos of climbing were required to bne linked to the area, often even the wall it was on before they were approved.

I didn't even know about this site until the thread started up on MP. I needed a change of pace for sure. Tired of the same forum questions over, and over, and same people answering these questions over, and over. Let's get the party started!!!

I think my hands might be red camalots. Dating a girl now who, no joke, can hand jam purple (tight) and green (normal) cams. Me on the other hand #4 "OW" is not OW for me, it's perfect hands, wide #4 is my fist. My friends hate me and the ladies love me, what can I say. My gf on the other hand hates the topic of hand jam size everytime I introduce her to new climbers. (p.s. he was saying gold's are perfect hands (thin for me) because it's true, hence the statement about MP is also true (i.e. stating the obvious))

Did RC.com add a new 'smell-a-climber' feature while I was away in Squamish? That's how we can one-up the MP-commies.
