He's big into just hiking for the sake of walking (weird  ) and we've gone exploring the local waterfalls, which there are 200 in my town alone.

I think it could work. Most Poly families make the mistake of thinking that each woman needs her own litter so they undermine any potential advantage by having a fuck-ton of kids. Just don't do that and you should be good.
