First outdoor experience was at Morialta Conservation Park in the Adelaide Hills, South Australia, you can see a photo of one of the climbs here:http://www.rockclimbing.com/...Area.php?AreaID=4132

This photo shows a dirty, ugly, but nonetheless cool climb called Lord's Prayer. In my opinion there are many much better climbs in the Park, when I get some decent pics I'll post them on this forum showing 'Mori' in all it's glory.

Mission Gorge in '70, also Santee Boulders, Mt. Woodson same year, all in San Diego. Didn't get to Josh until '73, or the valley until '74 or '75, I had to save up my allowance or get off restriction or something as I was only 13 in '74. :)

Whipps Ledges in Hinckley, Ohio. Then moved to CO for a bit and the first climb out there was on the Bucksnort Slab, followed by dinner at the Bucksnort Saloon.

Joshua Tree - I bought my first trad rack before ever leading a single pitch cause I knew that I would not be able to toprope most of the routes at Josh! My first lead was a 5.5 on Turtle Rock.

Wapsapinican (?) State Park, Iowa.
Yes, this Colorado native had to go to Iowa before he started climbing. The irony has already been pointed out to me many, many times.
