I jus thought of this in relation to the music thread and the 'most embarrassing moment' thread. Which groups and/or CDs are you ashamed that you ever liked? I've got two: -in junior high, I was a die-hard Milli Vanilli fan. -in high school, I was obsessed with 311. I thought for a long time that their old stuff was great, and that they only got shitty with their newer stuff (a la Metallica). However, I listened to one of their old songs the other day, and was like "DUDE! these guys seriously suckass bigtime! they are a disgrace to white rapper wannabes everywhere!" ***bands that I am NOT ashamed I was obsessed with: -Metallica. every male 7th-9th grader MUST like Metallica. Regard them with suspicion if they did not. -Nirvana. I still rock out when I hear them.***

Well, they didn't have CDs then, but Paula Abdul and White Snake. Also, there was Weird Al Yankovich and Michael Jackson.

HAHAHAHA!!! I frickin HATE U2!!! I mean, I admitted to having owned a Milli Vanilli tape, but, like, if I had EVER owned anything by U2, I would fricking deny it and then commit ritual suicide. hahaha U2 fucking blows big time!

innovative guitar? like, 150m/sec of digital delay makes a mofo innovative? poo... The Edge couldn't innovate his way out of a wet paper bag. damn, it feels good to be an asshole.

The Go-Go's first album (on vinyl)..... I wanted to put it in Belinda Carlisle's chubby little butt. When it comes to embarrassing its hard to top the 80's, although we did have REAL punk rock back then, unlike those poor kids talking about Avail in another thread.

OMG this is good. Well, in my collection right now I can say that I have the Melrose Place soundtrack. That's a reflection of my high school years gone bad... heh.... I also was big into Milli Vanilli back in the day (keep in mind we're back in tape mode now as CD's came out when I was in high school....). Hey, at the time it seemed like a good idea.... ;) CD I'm not ashamed to have: GnR lies lies lies baby!
