Yo We need to settle a debate in our clan. Who is the best outdoor clothing company out there in the wild wide world. Im looking for just clothing here so anyone who posts something that refers to gear will be disregarded. Here is my suggested top outdoor clothing company 1. Yeti Clothing Co. 2. Bigfoot Equipment 3. The North Face 3. The South Face (Chinese Knock off but good clothes anyway) 4. West Beach 5. Mtn Hardwear I know that there are some brands on here you may not of heard off. I am from Norway (orginally) and have access to some of the best clothing in the world. Please post your your top 5 so we can settle this debate with a minimum of bloodshed. Thanks in advance. I actually love my North Face togs. They always keep me warm and dry outside. Especially their down and windproof jackets. And now they have A5 in the NF family too. I have one Arc'teryx jacket but it isn't nearly as warm as the similar style I have in NF. But you should add Arc'teryx to your original list, I know a lot of people who swear by that brand. I'm just not one of them.

In reply to: Yo We need to settle a debate in our clan. Who is the best outdoor clothing company out there in the wild wide world. A|X for underwear prAna for climberwear La Sportiva for shoes TNF for outerwear (excluding my beanie) ...and Land Rover for transportation. Furthermore, I will only fill up my Range Rover with premium gasoline at Shell.

Marmot- rain gear Mammut- climbing pants Feathered Friends- cold weather gear Mtn Hardware- all around clothing Patagonia- base layers As you see, it all depends on what use you are looking for. I personally like the above list for specific uses. For me, none of the brands have the BEST of everything which is why I like to mix and match depending on what I'm needing.

Dickies work pants, sawed off about 6" below the knee. Very punk rock, and very abrasion resistant... They hold up better than anything else I've worn climbing weekly out at the cheese grater rock of JTree. Now if my soles only lasted as long. :?

Arcteryx Mammut Marmot Mountain Hardwear or what ever fits you the best The North Face.... if you are highschool kid(no offense to you highschoolers) or a sorority girl trying to look cool. Let's face it something is wrong with your company when it is owned by Vanity Fair and when walking around on a college campus you see some Frat boys wearing a Denali Jacket with their frat letters in place of "The North Face" on the logo.

Cloudveil Marmot Arc'teryx Moonstone GoLite I'd keep Mountain Hardware and TNF off the list these days. Used to be better but when they're owned by Jansport and Columbia, I stop buying from them. Lowe Alpine stays off the list, except for their packs.

nothing holds up like Carhartts, baby! I swear, thos things will almost stop bullets. The only downside, is that they are a tad heavier than those flimsy butt-hut shorts some people like to wear. As for cold weather gear, I live in Arizona. Cold weather gear is a flannel and sandals. 8) ---Reverend Ford--- "Wait 'till you see those g*ddam*ed bats!" (HST)
