I am Darin Holt. I rented a room from John for three years there in Scottsdale. I just heard the news and want to find out what information you have come up with. Obviously we spent alot of time together and I know alot of his routines. Including Vegas for New Years. He never contacted anyone at the Calico Ranch on his trip to Vegas (gambling or not)???

Curt - Have you contacted Alpinist also? The circulation and frequency of the magazine isn't so hot, but it might be worth a try... They may put something up on their site too(or even the e-newsletter).
Will it have something in the next Spray issue?
Also how about Metolious, Gearexpress, etc?
