In reply to: I contacted Darin Holt a few days ago and told him the situation. He contacted our friend Howard Lamb. Howard is heading out to Las Vegas to talk to a detective. He will be giving the detective a cd with pictures of John. Howard has also asked me if I got any good photos of John without sunglasses on. He will also be asking around in the casinos to see if anyone knows anything. Howard went through Palm Springs and checked out the casinos there. He said he would be driving through J-tree Checking out the campgrounds on his way to Las Vegas. If any one has any good photos of John please e-mail them to me at joshklingbeil@yahoo.com so I can get them to Howard. Keep your eyes open and your hopes up.
Has there been any progress here?

Ok, this is second hand information:
Yesterday, my friend Brian was talking on the phone with a guy named Howard, from San Diego. (HUGE props to this man)
He has putting up missing person flyers everywhere in Vegas. Word is that he has contacted two different store clerks that recognized John a soon as two weeks ago.
One of the clerks said he seemed kind of out of it. She said that she's had a stroke before and that is what it reminded her of.
I've been following this for a while and this is the latest I've heard of any trace since his atm/credit card transaction.
I will try and get some cross-streets of the stores.....

Ammon, thank you for sharing this with us. While not the best possible news, at least it gives us a bit of hope.
