I wanted to give you a quick update of John. I am his sister, Jane, from Colorado. I have been contacted by Darin Holt, and Howard Lamb. John's old roommate Darin and Howard have been very helpful in the search for John. Howard spent the week in Las Vegas and truly traced John's purchase trail, finding some store clerks who thought they had possibly seen him within the past few weeks, but this could have been someone who looked like him. We are so very appreciative of all the time and effort Howard spent searcing for John in Las Vegas. He left no rock unturned, from the poker spots to Wal-mart. John was definitely seen on Jan. 2 - 4 when he purchased a new pair of polarized sunglasses.
We are so thankful that so many of you climbers have responded to this site . My sister, Jill, and I, are so impressed by you all and thank you so much for your concern. I thank so many of you have have called me regarding John.

Has someone started a similar thread @ climbing.com or supertopo.com? the more pairs of eyes the better.

If He's a climber and went to Vegas, has anyone checked out some of the different canyons at Redrocks. He may have gone there to explore and
maybe got injured. Just an idea. My prayers go out for him also
