We were climbing there a lot until it got hot. Mainly on the bluff line that runs off to the left when looking at the lake. Ive only climbed on the other side once. Its really crappy rock that is dirty and flakey but its as close as the gym in Fayetville so why not climb real rock when you have the chance. Brandon J.

hey paintinhaler, i have been climbing at lincoln a bit lately. i'm disillusioned with that place, though. about a month ago i installed 2 new super shuts on thirteen crack as a bit of community service. one of them has already been pimped. if anyone has any info on this i'd sure like to hear about it. sorry to vent on your thread, but it seemed like the topic tied in. happy climbing

I climbed there a couple of winters ago. It was nice rock, but there were some huge icycles hanging from above. As soon as it started warming up, they came crashing down all around us. When we went to the other side of the lake, we saw some 20 foot ice all the way to the ground. I got some great pictures but I don't know how to post them and I don't have a scanner.

Bummer about the super shuts-that's just a straight up pounder manuever. Sounds like I should come for the ice climbing not the rock climbing. But then again I could just stay here and ski Pow Pow. HMMMMMM the air is cooling and pow pow is on its way!

Yeh, we were there last winter when the "big" ice was hanging. There is a lot of run off water on some bluffs. As far as the ice climbing bit goes?? I wouldnt suggest it.

There is a ice form on "quest for the sticky stuff" allmost every year. I was going to climb around it and over the roof but I didnt think it was safe. It would make some nice pictures. Thanks for posting everyone. And if you ever out there just look for a little 15 year old and his partner. Thats me im out there almost every week. Im glad I have a crag so close, im lucky.

Oh, and the new sport routes. If anyone has any info on them post it up. I put the routes in the Routes thing for "Howards Wall". Im going to call Chris Robertson, I think he put them up.

Hey chick, it would be about 3 1/2 miles from Little Rock. Its definately not worth the drive. Your way better off at Sams or Magazine from Memphis.

my mistake on the anchors on 13 crack. i was misinformed - my roommate saw the old anchors to the right of 13 and assumed they were the anchors i had placed. sorry for the rant, but i sorta flew off the handle because i have had hardware removed there before.

I hear Shepherd Springs is a very nice place. I have never been there. I think they have guides at Pack Rat or Uncle Sam's. If you dont already have one.
