I NEED A PARTNER THIS WEEKEND!!! I'm in Springdale, and heading east! I'd like to sew some cracks, but I'll boulder, sport, or trad. I'm thinking of a really cool spot to go if anyone wants some freakin scary multi-pitch! Reply, give me a PM, or give me a call at home! 750-3462 (I turn off the phone at 8:30 PM). I STILL NEED SOME REPLIES!!! Somebody has to have a GIANT itch to get out in this beautiful weather. I PM'd leeper_z, and got ahold of a friend in town. Looks like Jasper is going to be the place to be this weekend, but I'm not sure if I'm gonna have any hardcore trad guys along. That's COOL!!! Let's get out to Cave Creek and sew up some sport routes (couple of trad out there). Anybody done that overhanging arete down on the boulder from Flying Elvis? Cool route! Real pumper. I'll reply again tonight to say where I'll be for sure. Hope to see some people out there!!

Okay, looks like Cave Creek will be it. I'll be the really short-haired guy named Andy. See you all out there if anybody comes.

Hey Jer... I'm almost finished with my 17 pitch traverse at Mt. Mag... I'm not kidding either, 17 pitches, crux @ 5.12???... Maybe another week I'll have it all linked up and two new belays set for it. A.W.

17 pitches!? Does this simply cross across existing lines or is it an entirely original line? Are you gonna be at this weekends gathering? if so- bring topo and info please- I would love to have it on file! Jer-onimo

I want in on this one! 17 pitches!!! Wow. I want some info, too. I'll be at the gathering, so you'll have to tell me about it there.

I'll bring my notes, I think you'll be pretty pleased with the scope of the NEW route. It crosses several existing lines, but also goes through several walls with no established routes. So far, I have only had to aid through one or two small sections. We'll definitely hook up this weekend. See y'all there -- beer at my place! A.W.
