I'll be up in that area in early December. Any good top-roping opportunities?

Thanks,

I don't know of much in the Rogers area. Springdale has a small bouldering area but there has been some discussion as to whether or not it has been closed. Check out the areas listed under the Ozark region of Arkansas (Shepherd Springs, Lake Lincoln, etc). If you have time I recommend Sam's Throne. It is only a couple hours away. The weather in Arkansas can be unpredictable. If you find yourself needing to climb indoors, LaCasa Pollo in Fayetteville has a lot to offer.

Thanks for the info. A couple of hours is not a problem. Are there any good guides? I'll admit that I'm a bit of chicken in a new area and prefer to go with a guide when I can.

Fall semester will be winding down about then. There are a ton of good climbers in that area. PM me with the details of your trip - count on me if I'm around.
