Is it safe to buy climbing gear off Ebay? I have seen a lot of good deals but I'm not to sure about buying used gear. What do all of you have to say about it? spyder

Depends on what the item is, dude. I wouldn't buy PRO or a harness off there. I would only buy shoes there, or somthing that is not directly saving your life. Andrew

Dude, I just posted the same question last night in the GEAR HEADS FORUM, where it belongs. There are already 5 responses. The squggly lines on the topic line make a nice effect.

No worries Monkey, it can possibly chalked up to "great minds think alike". If your near a climbing shop, they may have a bulliton board with used gear. At least you could fondle it first. Bill

I've bought shoes, and a gri-gri off Ebay. So far, I have gotten some really great deals, and nothing bad has happened yet at least. -Cat
