I just finished it last week in its original (American) version. Its starts slowly, ends slowly, but the style perfectly matches the action and people in it. I liked it.

It's definitely a strange read, and I agree, the tone fits perfectly. I ate it up in one sitting on a very rainy Sunday. Not one of my favorite books, but worth a read.

Judging solely on the face of it, bar a couple guide book posts, I wouldn't be able to guess the community.

What a diverse and integliggent lot you all is.

Still like the Calvin and Hobbes best so far though...

From Arboretum by David Byrne, a book of word art/poems structured by sketches/creative flowcharts/word association (it really is quite difficult to describe), the 5th concept (starting from the upper left and going left to right, top to bottom) on page 56 is "alienation".
