hello, im visiting squamish this september and want to boulder here. I'm just wondering what the area is called and how to get there from the actual city of squamish. Maybe if one of you are going to be bouldering in squamish around that time, you can show me around.

MW, The bouldering in Squamish is world class and easy to find. Just follow the main parking entrance to the Chief (the huge world reknown rock face in Squamish - you can't miss it. Follow the paved trail off the parking lot on the left and keep walking left. you notice a few entrances into the woods from there. The boulders are scattered from there, some climbable, some not. I would highly suggest picking up the "Squamish Bouldering" book as a great guide. You can also climb in Pemberton, 1.5 hours north of Squamish (1/2-3/4 hour north from Whistler) on the Sea to Sky Highway. Pemberton has great bouldering as well with safer landing and easier to find problems. I'm currently out of town until the late fall, but you'll find plenty of other climbers for sure. Best of luck!
